Description:
This light amber ale is made from the "second runnings" of the Jackrabbit Red mash. Beer made from second runnings is also known as small beers and the process is referred to as parti-gyle brewing. At the end of the boil, we add fresh tips of Douglas fir foliage to wort in addition to centennial hops. This beer is a work in progress, and for each Jackrabbit batch, we try and new combination of fir tips and hops.
